Week 2 My struggles

I am struggling with keeping still. My body is badly resisting. After few minutes, it starts itching here and itching there. Often I have to move a bit and start all over again.

I am struggling with lunchtime readings. At the office, we take lunches and tea breaks together. And, I am in a phone calls based business. Several times I had to use creative tricks to make it, splitting the readings in two to three periods or taking the readings with me in the toilets 🙂

Yesterday, I did my readings too late in the evening and I fell asleep on the 4th page of MK Part 2 🙂

This course came at the right time of my life. There are big decisions I have to take right now for me and my children. I am so grateful I am here with all of you. I am a big fan of Mark’s teachings and I will remain so for a long time.

  1. Hey Esther, I love your picture with your PPNs on it, truly beautiful and I could sense the emotion to it too.
I’m like you, have never done a DMP before, I’ve done plenty of stuff on goals etc, but they never worked, and now I find myself like you. My guide keeps sending my DMP back asking me to be more specific, I keep trying and trying, and it’s almost like trying to put a square peg into a round hole.
Hey I’m here if you need any support or just someone to lean on while we go through this gruelling journey together. It’s quite inspiring to know that there are 500 people all doing this together, all fighting their sub conscious, and then from time to time I hear this voice in my head saying, what are you doing!!! are you insane?!!! hee hee hee, I probably am but so must 500 other people around the world so, at least I’m not alone.
Look forward to reading your next posts.
    Cheers, Elicia

  2. Dear Esther, the sitting will get better. It’s a long process, but so worth it. You’re simply becoming more aware of the body’s (and the mind’s !) discomforts when sitting still. Take a few deep breaths. Relax as much as you can. It’s good to move a bit bit before sitting, do some stretches, yawn a few times… I’m a yoga teacher and am leading meditation classes. Let me know how you’re doing, and if you need any help. I’m happy to give some more suggestions. Good luck !

  3. I am a firm believer in the concept of all events happening for a reason, and in the right time. You’re where you need to be, with the people you need to be there with; never doubt it. All of the difficult bits will yield to your persistence. Just as an example, great job getting creative with the readings in order to get them done! You’re keeping promises to yourself in doing so, showing your commitment, and strengthening your mind and will. How’s THAT for the second week?

  4. Esther, I tell the people around me at lunch time that I need (book the time) 5 to 10 mins to do some personal reading. And I go off in a quiet spot and read!
